In a lovely mountain gallery were these stunning turnings made of many different kinds of wood. This one is made of Russian Olive, a species which is now considered a weed because of the enormous amount of water it takes to thrive. The artist has inlayed turquoise. That's a technique unfamiliar to me, but I'd love to learn.
